The Heartland Symphony Orchestra's mission is to bring the enjoyment of live symphonic music to central Minnesota. The goals of the symphony are (1) to offer local musicians and students an opportunity for symphonic training and performance, (2) to provide central Minnesota residents with cultural and musical enrichment through live symphony concerts and other special programs, and (3) to partner with central Minnesota educational institutions in developing outstanding music education programs for area youth. All of this is accomplished through the generous support of many interested individuals, businesses and organizations. Please consider one or more of the following avenues of support to allow this wonderful arts experience to continue.

Your purchase of an HSO season ticket assures you of a year's worth of quality musical experiences at an affordable cost. Special rates for families, senior citizens, and students are given to encourage everyone to attend. Additional tickets are always available at each concert.

S T U D E N T    T I C K E T    D O N A T I O N
You may purchase a block of tickets for distribution to young people who would not otherwise be able to attend the HSO concerts. You may specify a certain group or we will distribute to groups known to the orchestra. These are most often given to youth groups and schools. Your name will appear in the concert program as a student ticket sponsor.

G E N E R A L   F U N D
You can help support the HSO by simply becoming a member. With an HSO membership you will receive our annual brochure announcing the next season and the opportunity to help elect new directors to the board each year. With an annual gift of $10 or more you qualify for membership and a listing in our programs.

E N D O W M E N T    F U N D
The HSO Endowment Fund was established in1996 to give the orchestra a long-term capital base that allows it to put resources aside for the future. You may make a donation to this fund in your own name or as a memorial to a loved one or in honor of someone who has special affiliation with the symphony.

Y O U N G   A R T I S T    S C H O L A R S H I P S
Your donation to the Young Artist Scholarship Fund supports our Annual Youth Concerto Program. The winners of this competition are featured in solos with the HSO at the Spring concerts each year. Your donation to this program allows the selected young artists to receive scholarships to pursue their musical studies.

I N S T R U M E N T    &    M U S I C    F U N D
The HSO is now required to rent percussion instruments and performance space, because of new school restrictions and closings where we normally perform. We would also like to refresh our library of printed music by purchasing some of our all time favorite scores so we don't have to rent them each time. If you would like to help with these efforts, just designate your annual gift to this new fund.
